Reece McLellan (9XB) and Drew Rowley (9XL) were chosen in the Summer by the Deaf Football Association to complete trials. Darrick Wood School has received news that both pupils passed these trials and are now part of the London Region Talent Centre. This is the pathway towards joining the England Deaf Football team in the future. They will also have opportunities to play other regions in this country, other countries abroad and in the Olympics. This is a fantastic achievement and the Deaf Centre and the school are very proud of these two pupils. We look forward to hearing about and supporting them in the future matches.
