News in Brief

  • The National Poetry Day competition was a big success. Winning entries will be awarded in assemblies next week.
  • We are running a Book Fair in the Library over the next week (5th to 12th October). Please encourage your child to take a look at what is on offer. There are many discounted books for sale and competitions to enter.
  • We are grateful to all students who helped at Open Evening. It was a very busy and successful evening. As ever our students were wonderful ambassadors for their school.
  • The total raised by the Jeans for Genes Day was £1195. The idea for the School to take part came from our Head Boy and Head Girl. They very quickly got everything organised and spoke in assemblies. Well done to all who helped raise this large sum of money for this worthwhile charity.
