Parent Bulletin 17.11.17

This week

  • Our thanks go to everyone involved in the very successful Year 7 singing competition held last night. Each form group sang their own song before concluding with a massed choir performing “With a little help from my friends”. Our Concert Band also contributed and our guest judge from Bromley Youth Music Trust was extremely impressed with the quality of music on display. Congratulations go to 7YM, 7XS and 7XL who achieved Gold, Silver and Bronze respectively.
  • We are very grateful to our Senior Prefects who have led assemblies throughout Anti-Bullying week. The message of All Different – All Equal is one that we expect all pupils at Darrick Wood to get behind.
  • Our building programme is underway. Today we started to see at least the floor of the temporary changing facilities take shape. This also meant that the Year 9 playground has had to be altered and we have reorganised how pupils queue to use our current Dining Hall. We will publish updates on the building work here regularly.
