We are delighted that three Year 12 students were chosen to exhibit at a  prestigious nationwide competition yesterday. The Mall Gallery received approximately 25,000 entries. Out of those, 340 were selected and 4 of which were chosen from Darrick Wood – a quite phenomenal achievement. National Students’ Art Exhibition Success

The Art and Photography Department are pleased to announce that this year we have four pieces of work exhibited in a prestigious London gallery. A huge congratulations goes to Gabrielle Dalsan, Sam Courtenay and Isabelle Burrin on this huge accomplishment. Sport Relief Success at Darrick Wood School

Congratulations to everyone who participated in Sport Relief activities. In total, the events raised over £3300, which is nearly double the total of two years ago.   Well done to Years 7 and 8, in particular, who ran a mile in their own style, with lots of pupils really making an effort in fancy dress. In an incredible solo effort, Molly Martin in Year 7 managed to raise over £130. A huge well done to all involved.

This week 17 of our talented year 7 musicians, together with our Chamber Choir and A level Music students, participated in two jazz and improvisation workshops led by Drummer Phelan Burgoyne.
